Requirements for Making Posters
Due to the overwhelming number of posters submitted, presentations have been assigned to either Monday, July 23 or Tuesday, July 24. Posters should be mounted in the Golden Gate Ballroom between 8:00-9:00 am on the assigned day of the presentation and taken down between 5:00-6:00 pm on the same day. Posters that are not removed by 6:00 pm on the assigned day will be removed by AHFE. Authors should be present to discuss their posters on the assigned day during the mid-morning (10:00-10:30) and mid-afternoon (15:30-16:00) breaks. Please see the Poster List below for your assigned day. If you have a problem with scheduling, please contact Laura Abell as soon as possible: email@example.com
All presenters, regardless of the mode of presentation (verbal or poster) are invited to prepare full papers for the Conference Proceedings. Since frequently the intent of posters is to convey late-breaking scientific news and work in progress, they will be promptly peer reviewed as they are received.
|The poster board surface area is 4 feet high and 8 feet wide.|
The posters will be mounted on poster boards (one poster per board) with tacks which will be available on site. The poster boards are 4 feet (height) x 8 (feet) wide. Presenters can mount multiple single sheets of paper, larger posters, pictures, or any printed materials on the boards. Please note that equipment needed for demonstration is the responsibility of the author.
Construct the poster to include the title, the author(s), affiliation(s), and a description of the research, highlighting the major elements that are covered in the abstract.
Make sure your lettering is neatly done and is large enough to be read from a distance.
Note: Inclusion of extended poster abstract in the Conference Proceedings is conditional upon registration of at least one author per poster by May 15, 2012.
